I love finding a writer who does it as well or better than I!

And though there’s a lot I don’t like about what the brilliant Arianna Huffington has done to AOL … I stick with it because (A) I love Arianna … and … (B) occasionally I find a gem of a writer … like Wendy Fontaine!

Following is the link to one of the all-around best stories I have ever read. It’s about two of my most favorite subjects —politics and kids.

It’s insightful and so very well written!

MEGALOMANIAC?

Sarah Palin sees it as de rigueur. Lame-duck office holders quitting midway through their pre-lame-duck, usually first term of two.

And discounting the actuality of her being exactly one and a half years short of a complete term, she writes on her Facebook page, “We have accomplished more during this one term than most governors do in two.”

Meanwhile, citing Facebook, today’s headlines shout, “Palin Links Resignation to ‘Higher Calling’”. When you look and listen, it sort of seems that way. But in all fairness, that phrase itself [“higher calling”] was surely created by AP writer Mark Thiessen. (Huffington Post, et al, should know better.)

Here’s what I think about Sarah Palin ...
